How works

Fill in your business and client details, add line items with quantities and prices, then print or save as PDF — all in your browser, with no sign-up or watermark.

  1. 1

    Add your business details

Enter your name, address, email, and any registration or VAT number you want displayed on the invoice.

  2. 2

    Enter client information

Add the client's name, company, and address under "Bill To". This appears clearly on the printed invoice.

  3. 3

    Add products or services

Click "+ Add line item" for each product or service. Enter a description, quantity, and unit price — the amount calculates automatically.

  4. 4

    Apply tax and discount

Enter a tax rate (percentage) and optional discount. The subtotal, tax, and final total update in real time.

  5. 5

    Download as PDF

Click "Download / Print PDF". Your browser's print dialog will open — choose "Save as PDF" as the destination to download a professional-looking invoice.

Everything runs in your browser. Your invoice data is never sent to any server and is not stored anywhere.

Frequently asked questions — Free Invoice Generator

Is this invoice generator really free?

Yes — completely free, no sign-up required, and no watermark on the output. The generated invoice is a clean, professional PDF that is yours to use.

How do I save the invoice as a PDF?

Click "Download / Print PDF". This opens your browser's print dialog. In the destination dropdown, select "Save as PDF" (Chrome/Edge) or "Print to PDF" (Firefox/Safari). Choose your save location and click Save.

Can I add my company logo?

Logo upload is coming in a future update. Currently you can add your business name, address, registration number, and contact details. For a logo, consider adding it to a document editor after saving the PDF, or use a PDF editor like Smallpdf to insert an image.

What currencies are supported?

USD, EUR, GBP, INR, AUD, CAD, SGD, and AED. The currency symbol appears on the invoice. If you need a different currency, select the closest and edit the symbol in the printed version.

Is this invoice legally valid?

An invoice is a request for payment, not a legal document per se. For most freelance and small business work, a clearly formatted invoice with your business details, services, amount, and payment terms is perfectly acceptable. For regulated industries (e.g. VAT-registered businesses in the EU), consult a local accountant to ensure your invoices meet regional requirements.

Can I save and edit an invoice later?

Currently there is no save/load feature — fill in your details fresh each time, or keep the browser tab open. A save/load feature using local storage is planned. As a workaround, keep a copy of the PDF and re-enter for future invoices.
