How Timezone Converter works
Coordinating across timezones is one of the most common sources of scheduling confusion. This tool converts any date and time from one timezone to multiple targets simultaneously, and keeps a live world clock ticking for 12 major cities.
- 1
Enter the time you want to convert
Click "Use Now" to load the current time, or type any date and time into the input field. The time is interpreted in whichever "From Timezone" is selected — so if you're scheduling a meeting for 3 PM London time, select Europe/London as the source.
- 2
Add or change target timezones
The four default target zones cover the most common global regions. Change any of them using the dropdowns, or click "+ Add timezone" to compare more. The results update instantly. Day/night icons (☀️/🌙) show whether it's daytime in each zone.
- 3
Use the world clock for quick reference
The world clock at the bottom shows the current local time in 12 major cities, updating every second. Click any city card to set it as the "From" timezone in the converter above.
All timezone calculations run locally using the browser's built-in Intl.DateTimeFormat API. No time data or inputs are sent anywhere.
